Affiliate Summit East is just around the corner and the burgeoning conference series has expanded into the largest event for affiliate marketers. When asking about her background and the success of the conference, co-founder Missy Ward said “I’ve been in the industry for many years in various positions within several companies. That being said, the one thing that has remained constant during my career is the fact that I’ve always been an affiliate. The same goes for my business partner, Shawn Collins. I guess that because we are so embedded in this industry we are very aware of the issues and hot topics that concern us all. Conference owners with in-depth hands-on knowledge of the industry that they are running a conference about, definitely helps with the success of the conference.
