The upcoming Affiliate Summit 2008 East will include a number of sponsor opportunities that will benefit The LEAGUE, a school-based system that combines state standards-based lesson plans with community service events that teach students the value of giving and recognizes them for their efforts.
Missy Ward and I attended The LEAGUE 2008 National Awards & Recognition Luncheon earlier this week.

We got to meet Queen Latifah, Melinda Doolittle, Stephen Baldwin and others at the luncheon.
There will be auctions for conference sponsorships with 100 percent of funds received going to the The LEAGUE, as well as attendees being encouraged to make donations on behalf of their companies or themselves.
