I’ve heard from many folks at Affiliate Summits over the years who were not aware of various events and news surrounding the conference.
We send periodic emails to attendees with mission critical information, so it concerns me if somebody isn’t getting the information.
Whenever I check their registration information to see if we have the correct email address for people not receiving the updates, it’s pretty much always the same thing - they have one person at their company getting the emails for all of them.
I was reminded of this yesterday when we got the following:
I should be the primary contact. But please list [name removed] as the primary registrant.
So, that attendee will likely be left in the dark regarding any updates about Affiliate Summit 2008 East.
If this is the case in your company, I’d definitely encourage you to have the emails for each attendee attached to their registration records.
We don’t send much email, and we think the stuff we send is important for you to get the most out of the conference.
