As Shawn points out, the party’s over. Yep, rack up another Affiliate Summit event as a huge success and a barrel of fun. Typical… consistent.

Just made it back to the room. It was hard to leave the party in the hotel lobby, yet again. Brian Littleton found the piano again. Last time I looked I saw Connie Berg singing ACDC and Jamie Birch looking dapper with a new haircut and swanky shirt.

But alas, like everything, it must come to an end and we all will find out way back to our normal lives, until London of course.

I’d like to thank Shawn and Missy for many reasons. First, for allowing me to participate in the event by hosting the blogging room. It was a lot of fun working with the bloggers and other assorted media that stopped by (and friends). Those bloggers have been producing some great content about the show and I’ll be aggregating and listing all of those that I can find in another blog entry at some point.

Secondly, I want to thank Shawn and Missy for their commitment to producing such a high-quality show that gets better every time. I know for a fact they put a heckuva lot of work into these events, and it shows as the keep getting better. Congrats to both of you for what you have achieved.

Lastly, I have to be sure to thank them both for their friendship over the years. Aside from being just plain old “good people”, Shawn and Missy are two of the most generous and fun people I’ve ever known. If you know them, you know what I’m talking about.

So now I’m off to bed for a trip back to Cleveland in the morning. But the blogging is not done people. I will be blogging more over the next few days about more of my observations from the event, and plenty of other stuff too. So stay tuned.
