Ten days to go in the Affiliate Summit essay contest - it ends June 19. Selected essay authors will receive a free full conference pass to Affiliate Summit.

What you have to do is write an essay titled, Why I Want to Go to Affiliate Summit. Essays should be 150-200 words. Any submissions longer or shorter will not be considered.

Here is the latest recipient of a free pass:

I would like to attend the Affiliate Summit for several reasons. To Learn. Although I’ve been an affiliate for many years I have never been able to leverage these relationships into a full time job. I would love the opportunity to increase my proficiency in affiliate marketing. To Network. The opportunity to network with my peers would be invaluable, helping me to learn from those that are already taking greater advantage of affiliate marketing. To Teach. Jeff Barr of Amazon Web Services (AWS) will be speaking and I know that he would appreciate having me there to relate my experiences with AWS. My AWS script is one of the most widely distributed programs in the affiliate world today. It is used by tens of thousands of webmasters on hundreds of thousands of web sites (Google “script by MrRat” for confirmation). As I am an independent developer, and my script is Open Source, I receive no compensation for it and have been supporting it for years as my contribution to the affiliate community. I would love the chance to meet some of those webmasters whom I’ve been able to help.

Submit your essay at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.asp?u=286142167676 for a chance to pick up a free pass to Affiliate Summit 2006 East.
