Kevin McCormick, the creator of DressKevin.com and mydrobe.com, was featured on CBS/The Early Show on Tuesday, March 14.
Kevin works with a number of affiliate programs that sell clothing. He runs some banners and has integrated product feeds into his sites. He also has Google AdSense running in content rich areas.
Kevin’s site, DressKevin.com, has become a national phenomenon. Basically, he came to the conclusion that he wasn’t the best dresser. So he went to others for advice, and eventually reach out on the Internet.
He put pictures of all of his clothes up for everyone to see at DressKevin.com, and he’s asking for comments and suggestions on how to wear his clothes, and what to wear.
This is where his site visitors come in. Each day, he wants people to vote on what he should wear for all of his daily activities. And he’s got quite a following in the community he’s created.
He’s even expanded his “help me get dressed” empire to another site called mydrobe.com, where anybody can sign up for free and have strangers on the Internet help them gear up.
Kevin will be on a panel at Affiliate Summit 2006 East, where he will discuss how he is leveraging affiliate marketing on his sites.
