History is repeating itself for Affiliate Summit. Just as this past June when tickets sold out, they are now popping up on eBay.

There is, at least, one Affiliate Summit auction that started late last night, and it’s running for seven days.

Here’s the copy from the auction:

Affiliate Summit 2006 (www.affiliatesummit.com) is sold out, but I’ve got a spare ticket!

Here’s your chance to be among 1,000 affiliate marketers in Las Vegas on January 8-10.
All of the big players will be there: Amazon, Buy.com, CJ, eBay, Hilton, LinkShare, LookSmart, Orbitz,
Overstock, Payless ShoeSource, Performics, Tommy Hilfiger, Travelocity, Wal-Mart, Yahoo and hundreds more.

It’s three days of networking (speed networking, informal events, roundtables, parties) and
educational sessions on all of the hot topics in affiliate marketing.

Anne Holland of MarketingSherpa is giving the keynote address and there’s a packed agenda
(http://www.affiliatesummit.com/agenda.shtml) with dozens of other top speakers
(http://www.affiliatesummit.com/speakers.shtml) that specialize in affiliate, e-mail, and search marketing.

This auction has been approved by the organizers of the Affiliate Summit conference.
Send them a note at registration@affiliatesummit.com to verify that I have a real pass to sell for the January 2006 Affiliate Summit.

The auction has a starting bid of $1,449 (the price that conference passes were going for before selling out). There is a Buy It Now option for anybody that wants to secure it right away.

This particular auction is legitimate, but please be sure to write to registration@affiliatesummit.com to verify any auction before sending your money. Don’t be taken by an affiliate Grinch.
