This morning at 11:01 AM ET, I received an answer to a question I posted yesterday at 1:06 PM ET.
The answer was correct, but it was not the first correct answer. When I told this to the fellow that submitted it, he responded…
Obviously the contest must be rigged since a) you never post the winners name b) I submitted the answer as fast as possible. So have fun.
I’d like to address the feedback to clear up any confused notions.
First, I used to post the winner’s name in the same post as the question, but people were continuing to submit answers, so I ceased doing that. For the record, Fred Kauber won the ticket this time around.
There’s his name - no rigging here. I don’t even know him.
Second, I ask everybody to submit their answers through the form at www.askshawncollins.com so they will be time stamped to determine the winner.
Yesterday, Fred submitted the correct answer at 1:43 PM ET - a mere 37 minutes after I asked the question. On the other hand, the person that stated he had “submitted the answer as fast as possible,” may have submitted it as soon as he saw the question, but his answer was actually about 22 hours after I asked the question.
Good luck next time.
