“They got it right this time”, Corey Newhouse said while standing in the hallway at the Riviera in Vegas. Missy Ward and Shawn Collins pulled off a wonderful affiliate marketing conference that was to affiliate marketing as Search Engine Strategies is to search or Ad Tech is to online advertising.
There were 525 people who paid to attend as well as another 200 on the waiting list. (By the way, shame those who snuck in and did not pay – it’s uncool and very tacky) Moreover, the keynotes were educational and engaging while the sessions were informative and at times, even profound. In other words, like last year, Affiliate Summit provided strong curriculum in advanced affiliate marketing strategies and tactics. Oh yes, there was a great deal of networking and cocktails along the way.
